Returns & Exchange Policy
SemiNex Corporation Return Policy for Repair Items
SemiNex Corporation is committed to providing high-quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. In the event that you encounter any issues with a SemiNex product, we have established the following Return Policy for Repair Items to facilitate a swift and efficient resolution.
1. Obtaining an RMA Number
To initiate a return for repair, please contact us at RMA@seminex.com to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. By completing our RMA questionnaire, you will need to provide the product's Serial Number and a detailed description of the issue. Upon receipt of this information, we will issue an RMA number, which is valid for 60 days from the date of issue.
2. Packaging and Shipping Instructions
Please package the product securely, preferably in its original packaging, and clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package. Ship the product to:
SemiNex Corporation
153 Andover Street, Suite 201
Danvers, MA 01921
ATTN: RMA#__________
3. Unauthorized Returns
Any returns received without a valid RMA number will be returned to the sender at their expense. Additionally, products that have not been paid for or do not have an RMA number will not be processed. An administrative charge, along with any delivery or customs costs, may be invoiced to the sender.
4. Customs Documentation
All shipments must include the necessary documentation for customs clearance. The customs invoice must clearly state "US goods returning for analysis/repair" and include the Harmonized System (HS) code and serial number.
5. Financial Adjustments
Under no circumstances should the value of the returned merchandise be debited from SemiNex's supplier account. Any financial adjustments will be made only after inspection, evaluation, and authorization by SemiNex Corporation.
6. Analysis Results
The results of the RMA analysis will typically be available within two weeks of receipt.
7. No Fault Found
If the analysis indicates that the product has no fault attributable to SemiNex based on the customer's fault description, SemiNex reserves the right to charge a fee to cover the costs of testing.
8. Transport Insurance
We recommend that you consider purchasing transport insurance for the return shipment. The declared value on your shipping papers will be the insured transportation value, and SemiNex will declare the same value for the return shipment after analysis/repair.
9. Special Handling Instructions
Diode lasers are sensitive to static electricity and sharp transient currents, which can cause damage or complete destruction. To prevent electro-static defects during shipment, please ensure that the product is protected using ESD (electro-static discharge) packaging films or bags. Additionally, goods must be free of "thermal glue" and "heat-paste."
10. List of Harmonized Codes
Please refer to the list of Harmonized System Codes provided below for accurate classification of the product being returned. This will help eliminate delays in processing your return through Customs.
